My phone battery is seriously out to get me. Every day it's the same story. I unplug it at 100 percent thinking, "Today it'll actually last."

Then five minutes on TikTok, a few texts, maybe Instagram stories, and boom. Suddenly I'm at 70 percent. What happened? It feels like it dies if I even look at it wrong.

The worst is when I'm out with friends. We're figuring out plans, or someone sends a funny meme, and boom. Red battery sign. My heart drops. "No, not now, please." I become a human charger finder. "Anyone got a portable charger? Wall plug?" My friends think I'm obsessed. I kind of am.

Last week I needed to check a room number for study group. My phone chose that moment to go from 15 percent to dead. Poof. Ten stressed minutes running around school for a plug, sweating, heart pounding, just to see one text. So stressful.

Honestly, my whole life is on this device, and its power keeps letting me down. It's a constant fight. I just want my phone to last a whole day without three chargers. Is that too much to ask?
